At the end of the first week of our vacation, we left France and entered Italy. Petra had chosen a cute bed&breakfast in Vosdinovo, between Genua and Lucca. While there, we visited a beach resorts there on the coast and ended up in Viareggio. Viareggio was thriving nouveau riche beach resort where the rich and famous taunted their riches. All this wealth still shows today in the beautiful villas and house along the boardwalk and it still attracts the rich and famous and the wannabees... worth a visit!
