Leiden - Hortus Botanicus revisited : Early April, Petra and I went back to the Hortus Botanicus in Leiden. It was a gorgeous day and we were curious to see how much had changed since our first visit in March... Wow! That's all I can say! Gorgeous plants, flowers and trees everywhere. Really really beautiful!

Leiden - Botanical Garden "Hortus Botanicus" : Petra and I visited the Hortus Botanicus, the botanical garden in Leiden. It was a gray and overcast day so the light was terribly flat. But Spring was bursting out of the ground all around us, so we had a great time nonetheless.

Clouds : "Bows and flows of angelhair, ice cream castles in the air, and faded canyon's everywhere, I've looked at clouds this way..." The sky in the Netherlands is breathtaking with big patches rolling in from the sea or high skies being blown overhead. I can never get enough of this!
